Blue skies, endless white sand + cowboy boots.
Kayla + Morgan, two soon-to-be bride and groom from Idaho, drove 5 hours to get the bridals of their dreams at the Bonneville Salt Flats. We chose to do the session about 5 hours before sunset for that beautiful harsh light. That was our whole session. Harsh light. And I LOVED IT. Every single second of it, I loved it. Something that made the photos even more interesting were the blue skies that were one direction, and the grey stormy skies in the opposite direction.
My goal was to capture the little details and their personalities in these photos. They were both very sarcastic, but so so in love with each other, so I really wanted to get them laughing, flirting and being themselves. I also wanted to capture the little details like her lace sleeves (and she had golden brown skin from the summer sun, so we had to get that too), the flowers + veil, and her pretty boots!
I really pushed myself on posing and using that harsh light to my advantage! I loved how it turned out and I hope you do to. Scroll to enjoy the fun session!
