I was worried about these bridals.
We got to this canyon park, people were everywhere and the sun was straight above our heads. I don't know about you, but this made for a challenging photo shoot. I started walking to find an area that Courtney + Alex could do their first look. Finally, I found a spot that was somewhat decent and big enough with no people. I was still so nervous that they wouldn't turn out. We do the whole first look, which was so sweet. Courtney looked absolutely amazing and Alex was ecstatic to see her all dolled up looking like a boho mermaid with her long blonde hair, adorable sandals and the most beautiful flowy dress with beaded details.
After the first look we walked a little more to find some pretty trees and greenery. THEN for my favorite part. I turned the corner and I saw the side of the rock canyon with light hitting a spot perfectly and so dramatically. THIS IS IT. And holy cow did they look amazing in that spot. They are so comfortable in front of the camera. I told them they should model, but I don't think they took me seriously ;)
To say these are some of my favorite photos is an understatement. It was a challenging shoot to find that "good lighting", but we ended up finding some cool spots and making the most of what we were given. I am so happy with how they turned out. They are edited a tad differently than my other shoots because I typically find myself in soft light situations. BUT I hope you enjoy looking through the album.
